Great Smoky Mountains National Park straddles the border between North Carolina and Tennessee. The sprawling landscape encompasses lush forests and an abundance of wildflowers that bloom year-round. Streams, rivers and waterfalls appear along hiking routes that include a segment of the Appalachian Trail. An observation tower tops Clingmans Dome, the highest peak, offering scenic views of the mist-covered mountains.

Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort . A casino and hotel on the Qualla Boundary in Cherokee, North Carolina. It is owned by the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and operated by Caesars Entertainment.

Cherokee . Has many attractions for the family, like the Oconaluftee Indian Village, Santa's Land Fun Park & Zoo, Mingo Falls and Harrah's casino.

Asheville . Located in North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s known for a vibrant arts scene and historic architecture, including the dome-topped Basilica of Saint Lawrence. 

Bryson City . Laid-back and non-touristy. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Great Smoky Mountains on a scenic train ride through the Nantahala Gorge.

Gatlinburg . This mountain town in eastern Tennessee, has many key attractions to offer, including the 407-ft. Space Needle observation tower and Sky Lift.
